It's Recycling Day
1.8 degrees at 6:15 a.m.
The morning forecast from TWCNY:
"Still Breezy and Cold, Temperatures Moderating the Rest of the Week.
"Lake snow is expected to persist east of the lake but for many it will just end up being a cold and breezy day with afternoon highs in the teens to near 20 degrees.
The lake effect finally shuts down on Thursday as an area of high pressure temporarily builds overhead and mainly dry conditions should carry us through the end of the week.
During this time period, temperatures look to moderate and by Saturday highs will be well into the 40s."

From the blogger:
In my old age I've decided to let common sense rule (sometimes) and because I had no real need to go out into zero-degree temperatures, yesterday, I did not.
Today, however, if the thermometer does what the meteorologists predict, I'll be out and around and I'll be sure to take my camera with me!
In the meantime, here are some timely photographs by Russian photographer Alexey Kljatov for you to look at.

Those grassy-looking sprigs? Carpet fibers!

If you'd rather be right out in the cold,
try Blowing Bubbles!

Have a great day everyone!
