It's 50 degrees and dry at 5:30 a.m.

The TWCNY Weather Forecast:

Extra Clouds Today, Beautiful this Weekend.
A system on the coast will bring some changes for today. This system will throw some extra clouds our way, but for now, the forecast looks dry. Most end up partly sunny and seasonably warm with highs in the upper 60s to just above 70 degrees.

High pressure is expected to regain control Friday and should continue to dominate straight through the weekend. This will set us up for a great stretch of weather as temperatures top out in the mid 70s with plenty of sun.

Wondering where to go this weekend?

************

If you're staying in town do look that the "old" Chinese Restaurant on East Main Street.  The one-day "make-over" has made a wonderful difference!  (Now for the windows?)
I'm sorry that I don't have a new photograph to show you.

Work of several sorts continues on the George Putnam Home (also remembered as the "Home for Homeless Ladies") on Putnam Street.

We can now see that the new colors on the brackets and dentils match those of the slates on the roof.

On West Main Street, two "lifts" are being employed by men who appear to be scraping and prepping the brickwork before painting.

****************************

All in all, there's plenty to see and do, so
have a great weekend !
