WCS in the PLAYOFFS
Delayed a day by last Friday's snowstorm and subsequent school closing, the first round of the Class C Playoffs finally took place on Saturday afternoon. Many sports fans crowded into the High School Gymnasium while others clicked constantly on whatever electronic devices they had at hand, following updates posted by Patty Louise on The Waterville Times' Facebook page.
First came the Girls' game with Waterville vs. the Syracuse Academy of Science, and the updates looked like this:
Not long afterward, the Boys' game vs. Lafayette began and the updates sped along:

Waterville Boys vs. Tully at home in Waterville at 7:00 p.m.

On Wednesday p.m. the Waterville Girls will be on the road taking on #1 seed Little Falls at 7:00.
