Monday morning update and add-on

The TWCNY Weather Forecast

"Warmer and Pleasant! Colder Late Week.

We have a quiet and warm forecast ahead with mainly dry conditions. A few extra clouds today keep us in the 50s but above average. As we look to the afternoon, we should be mild and pleasant.
Warmer temps are still ahead with highs easily in the 60s for most tomorrow with dry and pleasant conditions.
Mid week a new system brings clouds and showers making for an unsettled day. But the bigger story will be the bitter cold air that arrives late week and for the weekend that will fire up the lakes."

The first snowfall reached the Waterville area on Friday afternoon and evening. Although there was very little accumulation in the Village, this Colgate University Webcam view of
the center of Hamilton made it look as if a full-scale blizzard was in progress.

Both residents an visitors remark on the sightliness of the village, but here and there are some real "eye sores" that cause people to wonder "Who's responsible for these buildings?" and "What can be done about removing them?"
