The Weather Forecast from TWCNY:
"Cool and Breezy Today, Perfect 7 day Forecast Ahead.
It will be cool and breezy with extra clouds and a few light showers will lake effect bringing these unsettled conditions today. Afternoon highs will only be in the 50s!
Improvement looks to take place by Tuesday as a drier air mass moves in with clouds, sun and slightly milder temperatures (highs in the upper 60s).
High pressure will dominate through the rest of the week and set us up for a prolonged stretch of quiet weather. Additionally, a warming trend is expected to take place with temperatures climbing back up into the 70s."

A Glimpse of "Cruise-in"
Preparations began on Friday.
Trash cans and "porta-potties" appeared in the Park .....
............... and the Stage had been assembled in the Dollar General parking lot.
Cruise-in activities began early Saturday morning.
The temperature was only about 52 degrees, but in the Firemen's Pavilion the Masons were serving up piping hot pancakes, sausage, ham, and scrambled eggs to a line of hungry customers.
While many of us were still eating others were off and running in the Mary Clearly Memorial 5K Run/Walk.
This is one of several excellent photographs taken by Meagan Timlake Tilbe and posted on Facebook.
It didn't take long for Main Street to fill up and by mid-afternoon there were still good crowds......
........... with many pausing to enjoy live music in the center of the Village.
Classic and Antique Cars filled the front lawn of the Tower Homestead, and pampered "bikes" were lined up in front of the "Good Times Bar & Grill" and "The Slaughtered Lamb" pub.
Traffic moved slowly but smoothly, thanks to the "constabulary" and members of the Cruise-in Committee. "Roc" Langone kept everything unsnarled at the junction of Tower and West Main Streets.
While waiting for traffic to move I glanced into my rear-view mirror and saw this.
Moving along, finally ---- vendors' tents filled the entire park but pedestrian and vehicular traffic was such that I could neither find a place to park nor dared stick my camera out the window.
The smartest visitors made their way from one venue to another aboard the "trolley" from Clinton Tractor.
To see many more photographs taken throughout the entire day, keep watching for pictures to appear in the official "Cruisin" photo gallery, HERE.

When I drove through the Village on Sunday afternoon everything was as neat as a pin and you'd never have guessed that thousands had filled Main Street and the Park the day before.
The only activity that I saw was a picture-taking session at the Bandstand. I don't know what occasion it marked, but it was a pretty sight.

ELSEWHERE
While I was having breakfast at the Firemen's Field, Saturday morning, Carol Sambora asked me if I had seen the maples near Paris Green. I hadn't, but drove there right away.
This is what they look like from the highway .....
...... but if you take the time to go through Paris Green and turn south on Doolittle Road - just a few hundred feet - this is what they look like ------ only MORE-so!
(Please click to enlarge.)
I think Carol used the word "glorious!"
She was right!!
(Thank you, Carol!)
