It's Garbage Day
59 degrees and overcast or foggy at 5:45 a.m.

The TWCNY Weather Forecast:
"Cooler and Quiet, Showers Return for the Weekend.

Any clouds around to start the day will dissipate pretty quickly, as high pressure builds in and provides a good deal of sun for the afternoon.  High temperatures will climb just above the 70 degree this afternoon.
After a chilly night under a mainly clear sky, Friday looks good with sun fading some behind high and mid level clouds later in the day ahead of a warm front.  Highs will make the mid 70s Friday, and return to the 80s with higher humidity once again for the Labor Day weekend.
Unfortunately, with the return of the warmth and higher humidity levels, the chances for a few showers and storms will also go up Saturday through Labor Day itself.  No one day, though, of the holiday weekend will be a washout, which of course is good news for all of you that have outdoor plans.  Our advice to you is to keep an eye to the sky, and the umbrella nearby throughout the weekend."

FOR THE RECORD

My thanks to Sandy Leverich and Jenny Sparks who have invited me to visit their very special gardens this weekend!

Thanks, as well, to Lisa Belfield and the "Cruise-in" committee who are considering ways to accommodate less-ambulatory visitors to "Cruise-in" activities at the Firemen's Pavilion with either a special Handicap Parking area on Firemen's Field or an additional Trolley stop, there.  That will be greatly appreciated!
