It's Garbage Day.
23 degrees at 6:00 a.m. with just an inch or so of new snow.
The TVCNY Morning Weather Forecast:
Localized Lake Snow, Much Colder
Lake snow showers and squalls will be around through today with some steadier squalls and windy conditions. It will be chilly with slower travel conditions with in this lake effect.
Lake snow will then move back North Monday night into Oswego, Oneida, Northern Cayuga and Northern Onondaga county bringing additional moderate/heavy snowfall. Lake snow will mostly stay North of the Thruway Tuesday. Tuesday night will feature area-wide flurries/snow showers with an upper level disturbance moving through. A stronger storm will move by to our southeast. This looks like a near miss right now, but bears watching.
On the temperature side of things, expect below average readings over the next 7 days. Temperatures will gradually get colder heading into the middle of the week with highs only in the teens by Wednesday."

SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT
****************
If you missed the last Market Day you missed displays by even more vendors .....
............. like this one: snug caps, hats and more, all by Virginia Keith!
(Ginny is also an ace photographer who never goes anywhere without her camera - unlike your blogger! - and who volunteered to take all of these pictures! Thank You, Ginny!)
I don't know whose display this was, but there were bags and wallets in just about all shapes and sizes and colors imaginable!
Carol Gloss takes a close-up look at Heather Biven's creations.
You can read about and see pictures of Heather's work here:
at Weathered Heather.
Yes, that's true!
and I can vouch for the plain, old-fashioned goodness of these cookies!
You don't have to be French - or even a grown-up! - to be drawn right to the display de la biscuiterie fine.
Jarrod Jaquays has an impressive display of unique, oven-proof pottery.
In the right-hand part of the photograph, Annette Gurdo chats with "The Creative Shepherd," to whose Roasted Garlic Cheese Spread I've become quite addicted!
I sent this picture to his Facebook page with the caption:
"Forget the crackers; just use a spoon!"
This week I'll get some of his other products ......
............. and also some Mustard .......
and some of yet another vendor's pickles!

When you go, allow time to stand around - or sit - and chat!
Members of SouthGate Ministries sponsor a Coffee Corner that is especially popular!

COMING ON APRIL 5th
The Second Annual Barden Highland Mudfest
How could such a good event cause a controversy?
Well - apparently it has!
You'll want to read a letter from Dan Williams in tomorrow's Blog Post.
