FYI - Friday morning


Although Waterville-area residents experienced a couple of power outages last night - one as long as two hours or more, causing the Waterville Fire Police to be called out to direct traffic at intersections where traffic lights ceased to function and ater which every home-owner dealt with blinking red lights on appliances and clocks - compared to what happened in communities to the south of us, those were mere inconveniences:

Forecasters contend that the rest of the weekend will be much more pleasant!

The YWCNY Weather Forecast:

"Less Humid & More Comfortable for the 4th of July, Beautiful Saturday!

Variably cloudy across Central New York with a few scattered evening showers and thunderstorms.  It will turn cooler and less humid overnight with lows between 55 and 60.
Improving weather is expected on Friday with morning clouds giving way to increasing sunshine.  Friday will also be less humid and much more comfortable with highs in the 70s.  Beautiful weather continues for both Saturday and Sunday with plenty of sunshine expected both days.  HIghs will be in the upper 70s Saturday and into the low 80s on Sunday.
The threat for a few scattered showers and thunderstorms are back in the forecast early next week with highs remaining in the 80s."
