Monday morning update & Add-on

It's Garbage Day

Sunny and bright, 34 degrees at 7:30

The TWCNY Sunday afternoon Weather Forecast:

"Nice and Quiet/Warmer

Prolonged Unsettled Weather Ahead

Today will easily be the nicest day of the week. Expect a good amount of sun, along with seasonable temperatures.

Our weather will take a downhill turn Tuesday as a large, slow moving storm begins to move out of the central plans. Winds will increase, along with the shower threat Tuesday. Steadier rain will be possible Tuesday night into Wednesday.
Thursday-Sunday will feature about a 30-40% chance for a shower at any time of the day. Temperatures will also be running about 10 degrees below average as well. "

You can't miss them!
A goodly number of new benches along Main Street.

(In answer to a goodly number of queries: No. I don't know what style they are, but they're not "Victorian," I'm quite sure.)

Do note that the new Trash Containers also have a Recyclables section, too, and that's nice!

Astro-photographer Don Yacco, of the Mohawk Valley Astronomical Society,
setting up telescope and camera to photograph the M65 Needle Galaxy.

(Click for larger view.)

He was assisted by Library director Jeff Reynolds who E-wrote that they were "Sitting in the 'warm room' controlling remotely with computer!" and adding,

"About a third larger than our own Milky Way galaxy, the Needle Galaxy is 'only' 40 million light from us!   Hundreds of BILLIONS of stars in each!!!"

(Thanks, Jeff!)
